The Charleston Smoke Out 2023 was a celebration of all things cigar, food, and Southern hospitality. Held on May 5th and 7th, the event brought together cigar enthusiasts from all over the country to enjoy a weekend of smoking, eating, and socializing.
The event was hosted Good Time Gang Cigar Club Charleston Chapter, in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC which provided the perfect backdrop for the festivities. The smoke-filled air, the sound of live music, and the smell of delicious food created an atmosphere of camaraderie and relaxation.
The event kicked off with a Meet & Greet welcome party on Thursday evening, where attendees were able to mingle with fellow BOTL’s and SOLT’s in town for the weekend. On Friday, the main event began with GTG Hook Day, where attendees were treated to amazing food, cigar, and a variety of vendors. As the sun began to set, the party continued with live music and dancing. Attendees enjoyed a wide range of live entertainment from some of the best bands in the area. The Hook Day was followed by After Party as well as the After After Party at the host Hotel.
Throughout the weekend, attendees had the opportunity to sample a wide variety of cigars from some of the featured brands, including Konscious Cigars, Definition Cigars, and Caldwell Cigars. The event also featured a wide selection of spirits from brands sure as Patron and Moet Hennessy.
But cigars were not the only star of the show. The Charleston Smoke Out 2023 also showcased some of the best food that Charleston had to offer. Attendees were treated to a wide range of culinary delights, from Southern barbecue to Lowcountry seafood.
The event also featured a bourbon and cigar pairing seminar, where attendees could learn how to pair different bourbons with different cigars to enhance their flavor profiles. This was followed by a craft beer and cigar pairing seminar, where attendees could explore the world of beer and cigars and discover new combinations.
